It was born out of their passion to intervene and alleviate the plight of vulnerable persons, particularly to provide care for the chronically ill persons on our roads and free them from perceived exploitation by their supposed
Our Goal is to Build a public-private partnership among stakeholders towards eradicating the chronically ill persons on our roads.
The methodology for achieving this goal was the building of multi-sectoral governmental and non-governmental partnership, advocacy and lobbying of critical stakeholders to initiate policies, processes, and platforms as well as the enactment of
Our mission is to remove all Chronically ill persons from the street, giving them succor for a better tomorrow and reintegrating them to the society.
Our Vision is to have a well managed society free from Chronically ill persons loitering all over the place, saving our children and the general public from unnecessary trauma they pass through after such views

SUSTAINABILITY OF THE PROJECT
- This project is a public-private partnership that is open to willing local and international partners.
- It is anchored on voluntary participation.
- The operational environment of the project is Rivers State. The environment is peaceful and conducive.
- As a partnership, the Committee enjoys a very cordial relationship with stakeholders, including state actors.
- Transparency and accountability in the management of resources are critical core values of the committee.
- The operational policies are codified in a legal framework.
It is a public-private partnership that began on 12th February, 2016 driven by the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent De Paul, the National Orientation Agency, Rivers State and the Catholic Diocese of Port Harcourt with the sole aim of collaborating with relevant stakeholders (MDAs, FBOs, CSOs and NGOs) for the eradication of the chronically ill persons on our roads.
